Sulu State College stalwart athletes joined the parade and opening ceremony of the 1st Sulu Provincial Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SPIAA) on October 16, 2023, at Mindanao State University Sulu.

Along with the stalwart athletes was the college president, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, together with the coaches and college officials, namely the college VPAA, Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Chief Admin, Mr.Almashin Lipae, Board Sec. Ayesha Rema Tan, College Registrar, Mr. Kaisar Sakiran, Planning Director, Mr. Antonio Pescadera, and PESS Director, Mr. Nurvin Bara, graced the parade and opening ceremony.

Present also during the event was the Chancellor of MSU-Sulu, Prof. Nagder Abdurahman and the Guest Speaker, Vice Governor of Sulu Hon. Abdusakur “Toto” Tan II and other dignitaries.

The Stalwarts athletes will compete with other participating schools in Sulu in the different game categories.
