The State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Games 2023, with the theme “Unity through Sports in State Universities and Colleges for National Development,” officially open and welcome the delegates from different regions, including the BARMM region across the country, on October 1, 2023, and are hosted by Tarlac Agricultural University and Province of Tarlac.

The event was attended by the CHED Commissioner Jo Mark M. Libre, Dr. Tirso Ronquillo, PASUC President, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE as the PASUC BARMM Regional Chairperson, Mr. Nurvin Bara, BARMM Regional Sports Director together with the Sulu State College athletes, coaches, and officials.
