The Sulu State College welcomes the Freshies with the Theme: “A Gleam of Excellence to the Learners Academic Journey”.

The General Orientation is part of the Welcome Week for Freshies and we want to make this a tradition and memorable as they start the academic year. Not only that, we want to help them feel home as they will now become part of the Stalwart family!

Present during the event is the College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE and other key officials that gave their inspirational message to welcome the Freshies to Sulu State College and life as college students.

Highlights during the event are the launching of Stalwart Emblems and the yell competition where the Pink Falcons bagged the first place, Yellow Wizards as the second placer and the Maroon Pythons as the third placer. The event concluded with a Solidarity Dance.

Congratulations to the Office of the Student Affairs and Services and Placement Center headed by Mr. Saurajan Darawi and Ms. Fadzra Aisha Sabdani, respectively. To the student volunteers, Stalwart Performing Arts, Pencak Silat team, the ICT team and the rest who contributed to the success of this event.
