As the Sulu State College Non-Teaching Personnel Day celebrates their continuous quality service as public servants, they conducted a community outreach program to the children of Barangay Umangay, Patikul, Sulu. The event was spearheaded by the Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Almashin Lipae together with Mr. Firash Zhed Ututalum, Mr. Saurajan Darawi and the Team Leaders and non teaching personnel of the college.

This is the three-part program which includes NOURISH, a feeding program. TEACH, which was supported by the College Phycisian, Dr. Reynaldo Pescadera and the College Dentist, Dr. Adz-Jira K. Allama as they shared lessons for general and oral hygiene and Ms. Alfrida Abbang, the school nurse. Lastly, PROTECT, the non-teaching personnel of the college together with the participants conducted a coastal clean up along the beach of Umangay. We would like to extend our gratitude to our partners in this noble cause, to the Barangay Umangay headed by Mr. Al-Ansar M. Julkarnain, and to Mr. Ronier Suhuri, the owner of Shara’s Cafe for their utmost support and presence which added significance to the success of the program.

To the administration headed by Prof. Charisma Ututalum, CESE and to the non-teaching personnel of the college, for their dedication and commitment to the continuous service we provide not only in the college but to the community as well.
