Sulu State College President, LTC Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum,CESE (RES), graced the opening ceremony of the Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) CL 03-23 and the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Sulu Reservist Center on October 18, 2023, at Barangay Timbangan, Indanan, Sulu.

Together with the College President were the keynote speakers: COL Markton G Abo INF (GSC) PA, along with LTC Ajan S. Ajijul PA (RES), MPW-BARMM, 1st District Engineer,Sulu, LTC Marlon Graciano (INF) PA,Training Director, BCMT CL 03-23, and LTC Andolong L Durado (INF) PA, Executive Officer.
