In the endeavor to advance technological progress and effectively oversee resource utilization within the agricultural and fishing industry a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Sulu State College and Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery, and Agrarian Reform-BARMM last August 16, 2023 at Micro Hotel, Davao City.

Through this collaboration, the SSC and MAFAR-BARMM will engage in a significant partnership to advance research and development in the fields of agriculture and fisheries. This endeavor will focus on embracing the ever-changing environment within the Autonomous region.

The event was graced by the presence of the College President, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, MAFAR-BARMM Officials led by Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D. They were joined by representatives from PCA, PCC, ATI, PhilRice, BPI-NSQCS, MBHTE, MOST, BPDA, and State Colleges Universities in the Bangsamoro Region.
