THE SULU STATE COLLEGE successfully hosted the face to face REGIONAL FUTURES CONSORTIUM WORKSHOP: HIGH- LEVEL ANTICIPATORY LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE EXECUTIVE COURSE, the first in Mindanao conducted by The Philippine Futures Thinking Society (PhilFutures) on March 8 and 9 at LM Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The said workshop was attended by the SUCs in BARMM, a consortium of State Universities and Colleges in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to wit: Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College, Mindanao State University – Sulu, Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College and the host institution, Sulu State College headed by their College/University Presidents, Dr. Hanya Adiong, Prof. Nagder Abdurahman, Dr. Mutti Asaali and Prof. Charisma Ututalum, CESE.
The SUCs Regional Consortium of Futures Thinkers in BARMM would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to The Philippine Futures Thinking Society (PhilFutures) headed by its President Dr. Lizan Perante-Calina, Vice President Prof. Shermon Cruz as Resource Speaker, Director for Strategic Research Dr. Reginald G. Ugaddam as Resource Speaker, Director for Strategic Partnership and Networking Mr. Emannuel De Guia as Resource Speaker and Director for Strategic Education and Training Prof. Michville Rivera as Moderator.

Memoradum of Understanding(MOU) was also signed between The Philippine Futures Thinking Society (PhilFutures) and the SUCs Regional Consortium of Futures Thinkers in BARMM to signify their commitment and partnership.
