Sulu State College is blessed to receive two gifts from the Department of Information, Communication and Technology. The free wifi zone and 6 sets of computers for the Tech4Ed facility which will benefit the students of Sulu State College. This is also a big help to the administration in their pursuit of providing quality service to its constituents most especially we are in the face of a pandemic. The other parts of the country have good access to internet and Sulu is now already coping with addressing the needs of having internet connection.

We are very much grateful to Regional Director of DICT Mindanao Cluster 1, Maria Theresa Camba, for making all of these possible. To our partner from WestMinCom, Col. Lamber Jonathan, and to our college President, Prof. Charisma Ututalum who relentlessly sought support to include the college on these projects. Thank you for making SSC connected close to the world.

Present during the event were the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Jehana Muallam-Darkis, Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Almashien Lipae, ICT Director, Mr. Hitler Allama, other administrators, guest from DICT and our partners from the Army, Coast Guard and Air Force.
