A momentous occasion was held today as MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena, the BTA Deputy Floor Leader, led the successful completion and turnover of the impressive one-storey youth multi-purpose hall project at Sulu State College, main campus, Jolo, Sulu

This remarkable milestone marks a significant achievement for the Sulu State College community, as the hall promises to serve as a hub for various activities and gatherings, fostering unity and progress.

As the project proponent, MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena’s unwavering dedication and vision have been instrumental in bringing this ambitious initiative to life. The multi-purpose hall stands as a testament to his commitment to improving the lives of the constituents and enhancing the overall infrastructure of the BARMM region.

The turnover ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the project proponent MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena, Deputy Floor Leader-BTA BARMM, Mr. Aldin H. Asiri, the Deputy Minister, MHSD BARMM, Atty Najira S. Hassan, Provincial Director, MHSD-Sulu, SSC Administrative officials, Local officials, and the College President Prof.Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE are all coming together to celebrate this moment of pride and hope for a brighter future. The event showcased the collective effort that went into making this dream a reality.

The turn-over ceremony featured heartfelt speeches, by Mr. Aldin H. Asiri, MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena, Atty Najira H. Hassan, and Prof.Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, acknowledge the hard work of all those involved in the planning and execution of the project. It also served as a reminder of the transformative power of partnerships and collaborative endeavors in achieving shared goals.

The newly completed youth multi-purpose hall will be a versatile space, catering to the various needs of the students, including cultural events, educational programs, social gatherings, and more. It is a space that reflects the aspirations and dreams of the people it serves.

Furthermore MP Atty. Lorena added a personal cash donation worth P100,000.00 for the materials and equipment needed for the youth multi-purpose hall. We are beyond grateful for all the support that you have rendered to the SSC community.
