The activity aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), including: Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3): This outreach program aligns directly with the goal of ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages. By providing a variation of services that will integrate general check-ups, care of one’s teeth, services for the eyes, consultations, and others, And also, it has a contribution to the SDG4 Quality Education. The participation of the level 3 student nurses from Sulu State College School of Nursing contributes to the target of ensuring inclusive and quality education for all, as well as promoting lifelong learning opportunities.

Finally, it has a contribution to the SDG17 Partnerships for the Goals. Equally important are the partnerships with such key stakeholders as the Office of Member of Parliament, Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Ministry of Health (MOH-BARMM), Unified Muslim Medical Association (UMMA), Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), Province of Sulu, PNP, AFP, and Vamsler Philippines Inc. They engaged hand in hand, channeling their resources and pooling their expertise and networks to maximize the medical outreach program and meet healthcare needs effectively.

Once again, congratulations, SSC School of Nursing, particularly to our stalwart’s student nurses. These initiatives contribute to multi-sectoral action for health and well-being, quality education, and partnership building for sustainable development.
