Sulu State College non-teaching personnel lit up the stage as they showcased extraordinary talent and skill during the NTP on-stage contest on February 6, 2024 with the theme “SSC: Making Difference for 2024- the Year of Transformation” at SSC Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Walled City, Jolo, Sulu.

The event featured various contests, such as solo and duet singing, contemporary dance, doble kara, and impersonations. Teams from different groups within the college, such as Orange Cerberus, led by Engr. Abdul Rani M. Sahirani and Violet Amethyst, led by Mr. Moh. Al-Aiban S. Hassan; Red Aces led by Ms. Sherryl Kathleen S. Muddasil; Green Griffins led by Ms. Lyn D’ Amor E. Moreno, RN; Yellow Panthera Pardus led by Ms. Raiza M. Carpizo; and Blue Paladins led by Ms. Surfina M. Caluang.

The competition was judged by a panel consisting of Ms. Nisa Sakandal, Hon. Ahmed Amilhamja, Hon. Satrina Joy, Aljay-vince Asidera, Ms. Fatima Ayeesha Hayudini, and Ms. Marjorie-anne Lim-Asam, and chaired by Mr. Hanibal Haliluddin.

Moreover, Sulu State College also provided a “Gift of Love”, symbolizing love and support, courtesy of the Administrative Council, Jolo Home Décor, and Caltex Service Station, led by Mr. Boy Tan, to the fortunate winners of the NTP day celebration.

Lipae, along with the Office of Student Affairs and Services led by Mr. Saurajan Darawi and the Central Student Government led by Mr. Marwan Omar.
