Sulu State College kicked off its 41st Founding Anniversary on March 15,2023. The celebration started early in the morning with a parade from Sulu State College gymnasium to Sulu State College Main Campus, Jolo, Sulu.
The highlight of this year’s parade was the ‘’Stalwart Footprint: A March Movement’’ in which the main advocacy was to be environment-friendly by having a clean-up drive during the procession and by using non-plastic materials. Mascots of the different emblems were also present during the parade proper but with the use of recycled materials.
The celebration is themed “Sustainable Excellence: The Hallmark of Sulu State College”. The College president Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, together the SSC faculty, staff, and students were present during the parade. The said anniversary will be held until March 17,2023.
This was graced by Hon. Hussin U. Amin, the President of Alumni Association and auditors from Socotec Philippines namely, Mr. Melvin Grueso, Mr. Eugene Herradura and Mr. Erwin Quinto.
