Sulu State College recently hosted a ‘Meet and Greet: A Talkscape with Chair Popoy,’ featuring the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education, Prof. J. Prospero E. De Vera III on March 7, 2024 at SSC ground main campus.
The event, hosted by Mr. Firash Zhed Ututalaum and Ms. Adawia Jamasali, provided an opportunity for the college community to engage with Chair Popoy. During the session, Chair Popoy enthusiastically answered questions from Sulu State College students and awarded the CHED Smart Scholarships, totaling P25,000.00, to deserving beneficiaries. The award ceremony was facilitated by Ms. Sharifa Anjirani, Head of the SSC Scholarship Office.
The evening was further energized as Chair Popoy joined in singing the popular ‘Buwan’ song, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and joy.
